Mail In Service for Cell Phone Repair

iResQ Repair

There is a company called iResQ that will repair your screen or anything else wrong with your iPhone or Apple product that has an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.  They are the original company outside of Apple to repair Apple products and have been in business since 1994.  Most of their repairs are done within 24 hours of receipt of the product.  They also offer free diagnostics on your product to determine what is wrong with your phone and how much it will cost. The shipping cost is up to the consumer but they do offer quite a few shipping options.  They claim to be able to repair your phone or apple product at the lowest possible cost.  It may be worth it to you to check them out or at least give them a call to see what they have to say.

Repair Kits

There are also many different  repair kits for glass screens and digitizers.  Here is an example of a YouTube video of how to order the glass to repair your phone and where to order a repair kit if you don't already have the tools that you will need to do this.  This guy is repairing an iPhone.

It seems a bit complicated to me and I have never replaced the cell phone glass myself, so I would be curious to hear comments from those who have done this. This guy in the video seems to have a bit of a hard time with the kit.

There a quite a few other kits out there for other brands of phones such as HTC.

Have you broken or cracked the glass on your cell phone?

Have you broken your cell phone glass or cracked it in some way and it needs to be repaired?  There are many different things to take into consideration.  There are many services out there who claim that they can fix your cell phone.  Some of them may be local to you and some may be a mail-in service.  Depending on what brand of phone you may have whether it be an iPhone, Samsung, Nokia, Motorola, HTC, Blackberry, Sony among many others, and what is wrong with your phone, you may want to consider and compare how much it would cost to replace your phone and how much it will cost to repair your phone.  Many services to repair the screen and whatever else may have gone wrong below your screen cost just as much as it would to just replace the phone.  Most of the cell phone vendors will repair your phone but is usually for a price much higher than a third party can offer.
